Dr. Christian Diekmann (born 1965) was newly elected to the Supervisory Board at the 2019 Annual General Meeting. In the subsequent constituent meeting of the new Supervisory Board, the members elected him Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation SE.
Since January 1, 2021, he has been the CEO and CFO of MAX Automation SE as well as Chairman of the Management Board as Managing Director. In addition, he remains Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
From 2013 until end of 2020 he was the Managing Director and CFO of ZRT GmbH and Zertus GmbH, Hamburg. Previously, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Comp. in Cologne and Chicago and most recently as CFO at Comdirect Bank AG (Quickborn) from 2008.
Dr. Jens Kruse (born 1958) has been the Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation SE since 2019. He was already a member of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation AG and its Deputy Chairman since 2014.
The business administration graduate has been the Chief Representative of M.M.Warburg & Co KGaA in Hamburg since 1998. Until 2020 he also was the Head of Corporate Finance of the bank. Since October 2020 he has been the Managing Director of Capacces GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of the bank. Before that, he worked with PwC as a partner for the Restructuring Council (Berlin) and then with KPMG as a partner for Corporate Finance department (Hamburg).
Dr. Kruse is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Biesterfled AG, Hamburg.
Dr. Ralf Guckert (born 1968) has been a member of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation SE 2019. Dr. Guckert has been Managing Director and Chief Digital Officer of Günther Holding SE in Hamburg since January 2018. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer of Redknee Inc, Toronto/Canada.
Karoline Kalb (born 1972) has been a member of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation SE since 2020. After studying law at the University of Augsburg, she began her professional career as assistant to the Board of Management at WashTec AG in Augsburg. From 2004, she held various management positions in the company. From 2013 to 2019, she was a member of the WashTec AG Management Board, where she has been responsible for Human Resources, Compliance, Investor Relations and Special Projects since 2015. She has been working as an independent lawyer since 2020. Since September 2020, Karoline Kalb has been Member of the Board and CFO of TESTO SE & Co. KGaA.
Marcel Neustock (born 1983) has been a member of the Supervisory Board of MAX Automation SE since 2020. The business graduate has been Investment Manager of Günther Holding SE, Hamburg since 2013. After studying at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, he initially worked for several years as an analyst for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Frankfurt am Main and London. He then held various positions at Bankhaus Lampe from 2010 to 2013.
Patrick Vandenrhijn (born 1967) is Head of the Process Technologies Business Unit and Managing Director of MAX Automation since May 1, 2019. Since 2002 he has been CEO of bdtronic GmbH, a subsidiary of MAX Automation. Before joining the MAX Group, the graduate industrial engineer worked as Manager Marketing & Sales for various companies in Belgium. From 2000 he was head of the dosing technology division at BARTEC GmbH, from which today’s bdtronic GmbH emerged.
Werner Berens (born 1966) is Head of the Environmental Technologies Business Unit and Managing Director of MAX Automation since May 1, 2019. Since 2012 he has been CEO of Vecoplan AG, a subsidiary of MAX Automation. Before joining the MAX Group, the chemist worked for the SaarGummi Group for about 20 years in various positions, including Managing Director for Industrial & Track Superstructure Systems and Director for Technology & Product Management. Most recently, from 2011 to 2012, he was Managing Director of Flachdach Technologie GmbH & Co. KG.
Dr. Guido Hild (born 1968) is Head of Evolving Technologies and Managing Director of MAX Automation since July 1, 2019. From 2010 to 2019, the graduate industrial engineer held various management positions in the GEA Group, including responsibility for the worldwide service business of GEA Farm Technologies with locations in Germany, the UK and the USA. Previously, he was responsible for the global service business of KHS. Before moving to industry, he worked for 7 years as a management consultant for the Droege Group, where he was responsible for process optimization and restructuring and worked for several months in Singapore and Moscow.
